The primary investors include: Mr. J. Philip Sorensen, Chairman of Sorven Holdings and founder of Group 4 Securicor, one of the world’s largest security companies; Mr. Khalid Al Ghurair, a well-respected and successful businessman based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Chairman of Khalid Al Ghurair Enterprises; and Mr. Florian Bollen, Chairman of Great Wheel Corporation.

Steve Tight

CEO

Steve has extensive experience in highly themed hospitality and tourism projects, with 17 years of executive responsibilities with the Walt Disney Company in international theme park and resort development. His roles have ranged from Vice President of Finance for the launch and operation of Disneyland Paris to Managing Director of Hong Kong Disneyland during its negotiation and inception. Most recently Steve was CEO of Al Sharq Investment, a Dubai-based development company with a $2 billion portfolio of hospitality and mixed use projects. Steve has an architecture degree from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Andrew Turner

Director of Design and Construction

With a long list of impressive development projects under his belt, Andrew is a specialist in design management, engineering, and project management on very complex construction projects. Andrew has worked in various roles in Dubai for over 13 years, including Head of Engineering for W.S. Atkins Overseas, Head of Project Management for W.S. Atkins Overseas Middle East, and Projects Director for Al Sharq Investment. His portfolio of highly themed projects includes the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Wild Wadi water park, and the world’s most luxurious hotel, the Burj Al Arab. Andrew has a civil engineering degree from University of Birmingham.
